Velcro Patka Care & Usage
Care Instructions
To maintain the quality, comfort, and longevity of your Velcro Patka, we recommend gentle care.
For best results, place the patka in a mesh wash bag before washing. This protects the mulberry silk lining and prevents the velcro from catching on other garments. Wash on a cold, gentle or delicate cycle using a mild detergent. Avoid bleach, fabric softeners, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the fibers and reduce performance over time.
If you do not have a wash bag, make sure the velcro is fully secured and wash the patka by itself or with other delicate items only. Do not wash with towels, denim, or heavy fabrics.
After washing, air dry only. Lay flat or hang to dry in a well-ventilated area. Do not tumble dry, as heat can damage the silk interior and weaken the velcro over time.
Do not wring or twist the patka when wet. If needed, gently reshape it while damp and allow it to dry naturally.
With proper care, your Velcro Patka is designed for long-term, everyday use.
Best Usage Instructions
Velcro Patka is designed to save time, improve comfort, and create a strong, clean base for your parna or turban.
For best results, wear with phul voile. The milk fiber exterior is designed to grip phul voile securely, creating a sturdy base that holds its shape throughout the day.
Adjust the patka to a snug, comfortable fit. It should feel secure without pulling or placing pressure on your hairline. A proper fit improves both comfort and appearance.
The velcro placement is intentional and engineered to avoid contact with hair. When removing the patka, gently separate the velcro before lifting it off. Avoid pulling it through your hair.
Velcro Patka is designed for all-day wear. Whether you are working, active, or on the move, it should remain stable without frequent readjustment.
If it ever feels loose, simply readjust the fit rather than overtightening. Comfort and consistency are key.
